Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026 · amipregnant.com.au

1. Service description

amipregnant.com.au is an online clinician-reviewed pathology request platform. We provide access to a private (fee-for-service) pregnancy blood test (Beta hCG quantitative) together with evidence-based information and resources, guidance on available models of maternity care in Australia, and optional telehealth with a trusted women’s health professional.

All requests are reviewed for clinical appropriateness by an AHPRA-registered clinician based in Australia before submission to the pathology provider.

2. Eligibility

This service is available to women located in Australia aged 16 years and over. By using this service you confirm you meet these requirements.

  • Users aged 18 years and over may access the service directly.
  • A dedicated pathway is available for users aged 16–17 years, which includes a Gillick competence assessment where applicable, to confirm capacity to consent independently.

3. Not a diagnostic service

The result letter you receive is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute a medical diagnosis. A Beta hCG result does not confirm the location, viability, or ongoing nature of a pregnancy. You should seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional regarding any health decisions.

4. Payment

The fee for the Pregnancy Blood Test service is AUD $59.00. This is a private (fee-for-service) payment and is not eligible for Medicare rebate. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. By paying, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Refunds are not available once your pathology request has been generated and sent. Please contact us at support@amipregnant.com.au if you experience a technical issue.

5. Clinical oversight

All results are reviewed by an AHPRA-registered clinician based in Australia before any result communication is sent to you.

6. Urgent symptoms

This service is not appropriate for emergency situations. If you experience severe abdominal or pelvic pain, heavy bleeding, dizziness, fainting, or shoulder tip pain, please call 000 immediately or attend your nearest emergency department.

7. Medicare details

Your Medicare card details are collected for the purposes of generating your pathology request only. No Medicare claim is made. Medicare details are held securely and in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, amipregnant.com.au is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this service, your reliance on result communications, or your failure to seek appropriate medical care.

9. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts.
